Basic information about you

Here you and the visitors of your profile can see basic information about you. This information includes your First and Last Name, profile description, country, number of completed projects, number of active projects and cells.

You can edit some of the information about you by clicking on the pencil icon.

Skills

You can add skills or areas of expertise to your profile. These can then be used to recommend suitable projects for you.

Education

Adding education to your profile is a great way to showcase your knowledge and achievements to other users. You can add, change or remove your education record in the Education section of your profile. In the Education section, you will see the school/university, start date of study, end date of study, level of education, final exam, major, and a description. You can also add a link to each education record (for example, to a thesis).

Roles

By adding roles to your profile, you set what roles you can or want to have in projects.

Work

In the Jobs section of your profile, you can add, change or remove a job or internship that you have completed, or one where you are still active. For each job, you can add the company name, position title, contract type, job start date, job end date, description, and link url. This information will then also be displayed in the Jobs section to visitors to your profile.

Academic Profiles

Add a link to your academic profiles, such as ORCID, or Web of Science. Users will see these links on your profile and will be able to view your academic profiles of linked institutions.

Projects

This section displays the public projects that your profile is linked to.

Social media profiles

Add links to your social networks on your profile to increase your discoverability.

You can add links to your profiles on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, Github.

Language skills

It's a good idea to add languages you speak or understand to your profile. This way, other users will see how easily you can communicate in foreign languages. In addition to the languages you speak, it is also useful to add languages you understand. This will show that you are able to handle the language in text form, for example for translation.

When adding a language to your profile, you select the language you want to add and then your skill level in that language (low/medium/high).

Obtained professional certificates

It is useful to add professional certificates you have obtained during your academic training or professional development to your profile. This way you can showcase your skills, knowledge and achievements to other users. Certificates earned can serve as proof of your expertise and credibility.

When adding a professional certificate to your profile you need to fill in the certificate name, date obtained, expiration date (if any), description, url of the link.
